I was introduced to for King and Country at Winter Jam a few weeks ago. The music was amazing, as was the performance! I was struck by how pure and giving you gentlemen are, how well you expressed your faith and love through song. I went straight to your table, purchased the CD and the wonderful bracelet with your strong message of Respect and Honor. I have worn it every day the past three weeks and listened to the CD almost every day. I rediscovered my faith at Winter Jam, not so much in God, I'd never lost that, just my faith in joined worship and sharing that love and fellowship with others. I have since found a new church that I feel I can really belong to and feel cares for me in turn. A big part of that was your music. It has brought pure joy to my heart and soul and I can never thank you enough for that. I listen to Fine Fine Life almost every morning and it never fails to put a smile on my face and improve my outlook for the day. Even my children can sing alone with the songs and they love them too! Thank you So much for all you do and please keep going. The world needs more pure spirits in the world like yours.

My son was born 4 weeks ago. He lived for 3 days on life supports and then died. I have so much faith in Jesus. My family has been through so much and God carried us through, but this broke my heart to a million pieces. He was my only son. There was no indication that he would be so sick and die. He had a stroke and was brain dead within hours of being born. He had hydrocephalus. The doctors were just as surprised as I was. Everything indicated a healthy baby boy. What should have been a joyous occasion, was one of the saddest days of my life. I have all this baby stuff, a C-section to heal from, and no baby to hold. Traumatized is how I feel.
I was sitting in the car today just crying so hard. I had just been to the dentist, and the hygienist remembered me from 6 months earlier. She asked me how my baby was. I lost it. I broke down and cried and couldn't stop. I went back out to my car to avoid the stares and awkwardness. The radio played "Busted Heart" in the middle of my break down. It was my heart's cry. It came at the exact moment that I was asking God to hold me and keep me from falling off the edge into despair and depression. I need to be whole for my two girls at home, and for my husband. I have never heard of For King and Country, but that song helped me to have the words I needed to pray. It helped me pull it together when the tears did not seem like they would ever stop. It moved me. I had to hear it again so I looked you up on the Internet. I checked out the other songs and I have become a fan of your music. God bless you. I hope you continue to use your gift. God is using it to help people like me. Music is a powerful ministry.

Saturday was a day to remember. I have never EVER attended a Christian concert. I happened to run across the Winter Jam ads "by accident" (or Divine Intervention) while searching for new youth ideas for our church that tends to run a little dry in that area. We took 15 kids to the concert- my three daughters among them. The last year with my 14 year old left MUCH to be desired. She was trying to find her way in the world and had new friends, and started having boyfriends. My former straight A very reasonable daughter became a secluded, defiant, back talking, unreasonable stranger. She starting "dating" (as much as a kid in Junior High can date) a smooth talking boy who stole her heart. Unfortunately Mr. Smooth was also very lost and an emotional mess. I would happen across notes in the laundry (not a snooper-I promise) and it seemed that the common thread was him having a breakdown of some sort. Sometimes through crying, sometimes through fighting, sometimes through breaking things. I kept trying to approach it from a neutral point. I told her that maybe it wasn't worth all the craziness to pursue this boy- she should be having fun and this is an age where relationships shouldn't require work. Either you like each other or you don't but you don't have to fight or go through emotional roller coasters. His best friend was worse and took to my daughter as a confidant and a rock. One night she was on the phone past curfew. I went into her room to tell her to go to bed. She mouths "wait" to me and has me listen to this boy on speakerphone. He was crying and saying he was terrible and a bad kid. He proceeded on a rant about being worthless and a bad friend and he should just die. I was stunned. How had my little girl found herself in a position in which she felt she was the only person able to save this boy's life? I could not have her hang up- just in case he was serious. I didn't know him well and had no gauge. Apparently, his best friend Mr.

I have never been thankful for anyone as much as I have for the wonderful people that make up For KING & COUNTRY.They were part of the opening show in Winter Jam (as you all presumably know) and immediately I fell in love with their beautiful music. It spoke to me more than anyone else in the show. I had so much fun at the concert, but the entire time I knew none of the other bands had a chance at competing with them for my favorite. I bought their cd and came home and the first thing I did was listen to their music. The lyrics reached out to a place in my heart that is seldom touched and dusted it off, making me think of the wonderful life God blessed me with and the blessed path he laid right at my feet that will eventually lead me away from the sorrowful things currently inhabiting my life. Listening to their cd keeps the bad days from getting worse and keeps the good days getting better. It's music that screams into my heart. I believe their music is an experience I shall never forget.
